Eagle is the county seat for Eagle County. With its lower elevation of 6,605 feet, it is known as the "Sunbelt" of the Vail Valley. This community has seen tremendous growth over the past several years. New hotels, restaurants, and subdivisions are just some of the areas of growth. Eagle has a wonderful community spirit that is seen through its fairs, rodeos, and neighborhood gatherings. Many locals live in Eagle and it is an easy to commute to Vail - just about a half an hour. The Eagle airport is just down the road in from Gypsum. There are many outside activities including hiking, fishing, horseback riding and so much more.
